A Shared Mission
The Iniesta Cup is an extension of Andrés Iniesta's own mission through Iniesta Academy: giving young players a genuinely competitive environment to grow in, both as footballers and as people. As the tournament's Southern California host, OPUS Soccer carries that mission forward at Great Park.
Just as Iniesta has stayed rooted in his home region, building opportunity for players there, OPUS was founded to do the same here. A European-style development path with a real route to what comes next. Hosting the Iniesta Cup lets us bring that same commitment to a bigger stage.
Iniesta Cup 2027 | Tournament Information
OPUS Soccer, in partnership with Iniesta Academy, is proud to present the Iniesta Cup 2027. The tournament will be held March 20–21, 2027, at Great Park and Irvine city fields, with Boys and Girls divisions competing across U8-U19.

Age bracketing follows US Youth Soccer/Cal South’s official age group requirements for the 2027/28 season, based on school year.
Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 3 games, with finals played on the tournament's final day, March 21, 2027.
Registration deadline: March 1, 2027. Submitting payment does not guarantee acceptance into the tournament.
Tournament fees: [TBD by division]
A champion's trophy and individual medals will be awarded to 1st and 2nd place finishers in each division.
Payment accepted by credit/debit card only.
